the insert for prescription lens, can it also be used with the sunglasses and night glasses or only the computer glasses?

    • John Galley / 8:16am / 17 October 2017

Hello Jody - The Sunglasses have their own smaller prescription frame - and the frame from either SightSaver eyewear will work with the NightDrivers, although they do not come with that smaller frame. So you can order either or both of the other HiTek Speks eyewear and be "good to go". John

Hi, can you give more details on the frame used? I’m an orion4sight backer and the frame was really terrible. It came apart not long after the 1 year mark. It was a shame as I enjoyed using them while they lasted. Can you provide some information on material and if any wear test will be conducted? Thanks and all the best to a great campaign!

    • John Galley / 4:35am / 4 October 2017

Keith - You are sadly correct about the frames of the Orion4Sight eyewear. That poor decision was made by my EX-partner. I have gone to great lengths with my own three subsequent eyewear projects to correct that. The frames for all three - Including these Computer Glasses - are made from a high-end material called TR-90. This material has been tested and proven repeatedly and is often used in high-priced, branded eywear costing $200 - $400. There have been NO complaints about MY frames.

What stores do you see these computer glasses being sold in?

    • John Galley / 4:40am / 4 October 2017

Jennifer - OUR computer glasses cannot be seen in any store - yet - because they are in the crowdfunding phase of their existence. There is no inventory of eyewear to place in stores - and if this product was being sold in stores, it would be ineligible for crowdfunding. We certainly hope to be in stores in the future if all goes well! :) John

  • Patricia Farris / 6:00am / 24 September 2017

Congratulation John. I am so glad I ordered these and can’t wait to get them.

  • Cathy Brawner / 4:54am / 24 September 2017

I’m really excited to get these! I stare at a computer screen all day long and my eyes definitely feel it. I use eye drops all day long. Can’t wait to get these!

    • John Galley / 4:57am / 24 September 2017

You will definitely experience an improvement once you start wearing these glasses. I wish I had a magic wand I could wave - and everyone who has pledged would have their eyewear now

  • Walter / 4:55pm / 23 September 2017

How much hev can this glasses blocked? Dose SightSaver suit for who aleardy wear myopia glasses?

    • John Galley / 4:58pm / 23 September 2017

Hey Walter - I[m not personally technical enough to tell you exactly how much HEV rays are being blocked, but like with UVA and UVB rays in sunglasses, it is probably around 98-99%. Using the inner frame for whatever may be your prescription will address any corrective issue you need.

  • Marty Roks / 6:54am / 23 September 2017

These glasses are amazing can’t wait to get mine.

  • Manuel Gajo / 4:49am / 22 September 2017

Will a classical cleaning wipe be good to clean them? Also, is the base model suitable as sunglasses?

    • John Galley / 4:52am / 22 September 2017

Manuel - Any usual proven cleaning approach to eyewear will be fine. The computer glasses are not intended to be sunglasses. Our SightSaver Sunglasses - which also have melanin-infused lenses - and preceded this product on Indiegogo - are specifically intended to address issues outdoors. I suggest you consider the "combo offer" that has BOTH pair of eyewear. John

These are EXACLTY what I need! I’m always on my phone working or on my laptop staring at the screen! My eyes water and get blurred and I know that’s not healthy for me. This really is going to be an eye saver!

  • Clarice Richards / 7:35am / 20 September 2017

I had no clue how much damage was being done to my eyes!! I stare at a variety of screens for the majority of my day and I look forward to receiving these innovative glasses in the mail :)!

  • Eldar Dalseth / 7:34am / 20 September 2017

    I can’t wait to I get my glasses !!!!

  • Anne Gillies / 6:52am / 17 September 2017

Hello John, these glasses sound wonderful. Do you have a return policy if they just do not work? Also, someone else asked about how much hev can be blocked – can you find out? You mention two other websites regarding the night glasses but the links did not work. So, unable to obtain further information I ordered two pair on faith. Thank you, Anne

    • John Galley / 7:02am / 17 September 2017

Ann - We do not have a return policy as such. I believe I already mentioned the HEV effectiveness of the eyewear in another inquiry - but I am discussing further precision with my manufacturer. As for the link to the NightDrive Eyewear, others have mentioned that it is "broken" - and I have taken this up with Indiegogo. Thanks for your support. John
